Conditions for obtaining service

  • To operate with a four-stroke gasoline engine.
  • To be of the model year of entryto the Kingdom or the two years before or the year followingwhen entering the Kingdom's territory or the free zones of Jordan.
  • To be equipped with public safety equipment.
  • Equipped with lifting supports to stop the motorcyclewhen parking.

 

Conditions for Motorcyclist:

  • To be Jordanian unless the Minister decides otherwise.
  • Must have a valid first class driver’s license (motorcycle).
  • To be at least (25) years of age.

Be well-behaved and have the necessary security approvals.

Notes

  • A petition by the applicant, applicants or the requesting entity; in which case the driver’s name shall be indicated.

  • General Intelligence Department.
  •  Drivers and vehicles licensing department.
  • Jordan Traffic Institute.

Procedures

  • The applicant shall submit the application to the responsible officer, accompanied by the required documents and after being audited, the application shall be registered in the Directorate – incoming records section.
  • The Director General of the General Intelligence Departmentunder PSD shall be addressed to express an opinion. After receiving the answer, a memorandum to the Minister shall be prepared with the recommendation to take the appropriate decision.
  • The Director of Public Security shall be addressed, indicatingthe Minister`s decision.

The application is thensigned by the Minister

Required Documents

  • A petition by the applicant, applicants or the requesting entity; in which case the driver’s name shall be indicated.
  • A catalog demonstrating the technical specifications of the motorcycle, its engine capacity and its location for physical inspection.
  • Commercial registration of the requesting company or institution.

A Copy of the applicant’s ID.
